NECA Empowering Youth
NECA deliver FREE gambling harm preventon & education workshops across the North East of England with a focus on supporting young people, and those who work with or support them (Professionals, parents and carers).

Community Garden
Our Community Garden, also known as Greenhope Oasis, spans across a range of allotment plots merged together to create an open plan space. We have developed a variety of zones providing a perfect community space for a broad range of activities.
The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service
We are delighted to announce that our volunteers were one of only 241 organisations across the UK to have won The Queen’s Award for Voluntary service in 2021.

NECA is a registered Charity whose key focus is to improve the lives of individuals and communities throughout the region. For 50 years NECA have supported and enabled thousands of individuals to sustain long term Recovery from Gambling Harms and Substance misuse.
As one of the longest running regional charities working in the area of Gambling Harms, Gambling Awareness and Substance Misuse we have increasingly diversified in the range of services we provide to ensure we tailor packages to meet need of both Adults, Young People and Families.
